The Rare Earth Series explores the history of alchemic arts through glass making.

Utilizing the rare earth mineral oxide, neodymium, each sculpture is composed of cast glass originally formulated and produced by Bianco Light + Space.

The photosensitive nature of neodymium causes the glass color to change under different lighting from purple to blue.

These unique properties make neodymium glass rare and collectible.
